Mahachanok is a hybrid between India’s Sunset mango and Thai Nang-Klang-Wan Mango. The fruit is oblong and has a smooth, thick skin with thin seed.It is green when unripe and normally turns yellow when ripe; however, if grown under direct sunlight, the skin can have an red/orange color. Upon ripening, the flesh is orange yellow with pleasant aroma. It is slightly sweet and tangy in flavor.
